-->Biography<--
An actor whose recent performances have generated attention from both industry professionals and audiences alike.  Ryan is one to watch among the ranks of young Hollywood.

Ryan is currently recurring on the ABC primetime hit DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES playing Justin the new gardener opposite Eva Longoria.  Along with DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, Ryan most recently could be seen playing the role of Lucas Jones, the adopted son of Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) on the critically acclaimed daytime drama GENERAL HOSPITAL.  This fall Ryan will begin work filming a half-hour comedy pilot for NBC called GRAND UNION.

This passed summer Ryan was in Costa Rica lensing the “indie” surf film “Surf School” from writer-director Joel Silverman.  Ryan plays Tyler, local BMOC and surfing champ who must defend his title against a group of eccentric high school boys who rely on the guidance of a former surfing champion to defeat Tyler.

On the big screen, Ryan recently starred in the internationally acclaimed independent film EATING OUT.  His role garnered Ryan praise from both critics and fans from all over the world. EATING OUT received a sold-out limited national run early in 2005.

Ryan’s other television credits include playing Tim “Ray” Markus in the Hallmark Channel movie, THICKER THAN WATER, CSI: NY and a guest lead in THE CLOSER on TNT. Other credits include both print and national commercials along with a national campaign for NINTENDO.

Ryan was born and raised in Pittsfield, IL, a rural community of 4,300. He currently resides in Los Angeles.  An accomplished drummer of 15 years, Ryan also writes lyrics and is currently collaborating with several other musicians on their first project.
